
Leaf type: Narrow, dark-green leaves are 3-4 in. long and sometimes alternate near the top where the leaves are fewer. Some of the leaves are deeply cut, almost forming three leaflets. Leaves are semi-evergreen.
Bloom description: Yellow flowers can be up to 2 1/2 in. in diameter with toothed rays
Garden uses: This plant is used mainly for landscape beautification. It has potential for use in cultivated garden situations, in naturalized prairie or meadow plantings, and along roadsides.
Wildlife benefits: Flowers provide nectar for many pollinators, and attract large numbers of native bees.
