BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art today announced its lineup of Summer Forest Concerts set outdoors in the museum’s North Forest. Presented on the Coca-Cola Stage, the family-friendly concert series features national and local artists surrounded by the beauty of art and nature. Concertgoers can bring a lawn chair or blanket, kick back with friends, and enjoy live music under the trees, as well as kid-friendly artmaking activities.
The series kicks off on June 22 as The House of Songs Presents: Ray Wylie Hubbard. The legendary Texas Troubadour will bring the soul-stirring sounds of Americana, born from the time honored traditions of folk, country, and roots rock, to the North Forest.
The series continues Saturday, June 29, with country singer-songwriter Brittney Spencer. Recently featured on Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter,” Spencer is known for her free spirit and standout ability to mold life, truth, and wild imagination into songs. Spencer is no stranger to Bentonville, as she performed in the Momentary’s Live on the Green Concert Series in 2021.
Black Oak Arkansas takes the Coca-Cola Stage in the North Forest on July 20. With a history dating back to the 1970s, Black Oak Arkansas reached heights of fame, charting ten albums and captivating audiences with their high-energy performances. Their signature style features multiple guitar players, adding depth and richness to their music.
The 2024 series rounds out on August 3 with Rissi Palmer’s unique fusion of R&B and country music. Palmer’s gift lies in reaching across all musical boundaries. While she made her mark in country music, she is equally at home in R&B music, bringing the entire spectrum of popular music to bear on music she calls “Southern Soul.”
ickets for all Summer Forest Concerts are $30 ($25 for members). Youth 18 and under are free. Concertgoers can purchase a ticket bundle for entry to all four concerts for $100 ($80 for members). The bundle is available until June 22. Guests can purchase tickets online or with Guest Services at (479) 657-2335.
The Summer Forest Concert Series is sponsored by iHeartMedia and is presented on the Coca-Cola Stage.
