LOVE
Robert Indiana’s iconic LOVE image was originally designed as a Christmas card for The Museum of Modern Art in 1965. Indiana, known for exploring the power of language through his interest in popular culture and Americana, frequently incorporates letters and numbers in his work. Over 50 editions of this sculpture exist in cities around the world, including New York City, Philadelphia, Tokyo, Singapore, and Taipei. This version of the sculpture was fabricated in 1999.
